Bergo
Your data. Safely kept.
Bergo backs up your Windows PC to your NAS, another PC, a network folder or a USB drive – as soon as something changes. Your phone’s photos and videos join them over your home Wi-Fi. Free, no subscription and no third-party cloud.
How it works
One command on your NAS, Raspberry Pi or any other device running Docker. Or simply back up to a PC, a network folder or a drive.
On every Windows PC you want to back up. Sign in with your Winku account; the assistant connects everything and tests each target.
The Bergo app for Android and iPhone is coming soon. Until then, your phone uploads photos and videos over your home Wi-Fi to the station or a PC running Bergo via WebDAV or SMB.

Your data stays with you
Bergo sends your files inside your home network directly from device to device – encrypted, and only between devices you connected yourself. They never pass through our servers. bergo.winku.de only knows your devices, their addresses on your home network and short reports without file or folder names.
Everything you back up is stored as ordinary folders on your own devices and stays readable even without Bergo.
Good to know
One backup is not a second copy: keep important data in a second place as well, and check now and then that you can restore it.
